Description of the meeting rooms and conference facilities: Hyatt Regency Mainz, with a total area of some 801 square metres (8619 square feet) of meeting space, is well equipped to host a variety of meetings and events, from private business meetings and seminars to grand banquets and receptions for up to 650 guests. The hotel is equipped with five modern seminar rooms with natural light on the 1st floor, with capacities from 14 to 100 people in a range of meeting formats. Hyatt's Rhein-Main Ballroom, on the ground level, can be split into three sections and has a 4.9 metre (16' 5") ceiling, separate access and opens onto a large patio. The hotel's historic banqueting room in the arched vaults of Fort Malakoff holds up to 72 people, while the fortress's wine cellar is available for receptions, coffee breaks and private evening dinners for up to 40 guests, as well as wine tastings.
