Opened on 5th May 1873 by Queen Victoria, the hotel was intended to wow visitors with its sheer splendour. And, in many ways, little has changed. The exterior radiates red brick magnificence. The interior remains a treasure-trove of historic touches and contemporary grandeur. Opening in March 2011, this is a beautiful rare gem of a building, a true ‘one of a kind' destination, just waiting to be explored.
